\n\t\t\t[vc_column_text]Following an introductory seminar to Cuban music taught by Guillermo C\u00e9spedes, he discovered the different rhythms of the Caribbean and learned the “tumbao” technique on the piano. Later, he expanded his studies at the National Folkloric Ensemble in Havana, delving into Afro-Cuban rhythms. Since then, he began to collaborate with Cuban musicians living in Barcelona, \u200b\u200bincorporating rhythms such as son, bolero and cha cha cha into his songs.<\/p>\n

In 1995 he recorded his first solo album, “Angel come to my window”, which he released with his own label, Rosazul Discos.<\/p>\n

In 2010 he released “Lasvueltas que da la vida”, a compilation CD that brings together twelve of his most emblematic songs that he presents in a 9-concert tour of all the Fnac spaces in Spain.<\/p>\n

On the tour he previews the songs from what will be his seventh album, “Aquello era entonces, esto es ahora” (“That was then, this is now”) (Rosazul, 2013).<\/p>\n

In 2013 he presented it at the Barnasants Festival and on tour through 15 Spanish cities. In autumn he begins his second tour of Mexico, offering five concerts in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Metepec and Quer\u00e9taro.<\/p>\n

In February 2014, invited by the Barrio Colombia Foundation, he made his first tour of Colombia and Peru.<\/p>\n

At the beginning of 2016 he released \u201cNo M\u00e1s Canciones Tristes\u201d where he approached Latin American folklore and presented in the main Spanish cities and on a new tour through Panama and Colombia.<\/p>\n

In May, together with the singer Zaira Franco, she offers a showcase at the Exib M\u00fasica Fair in \u00c9vora (Portugal) and performs in Lisbon with the fadista Carla Pires.<\/p>\n

The song that gives the album its title is included in a compilation CD published by Amnesty International Catalunya.<\/p>\n
